DEAN CHRISTOPHER'S CD: SWINGIN' WITH THE BEST

All I ever wanted to do was perform and for most of my adult life I’ve been fortunate enough to have done so. I’ve performed in every aspect of “show biz” you can think of, except that of a recording artist. I’m proud to now be able to add that to the list.

While rock’n’roll prevailed during the impressionable years of my growing up, I always gravitated towards the “standards”; songs that are able to accommodate a flavor of jazz, blues or swing and can be sung from the heart with a style formed by a feeling or emotion that’s dictated by each lyric and melody.

Of course I learned from the best and I need to give credit where credit is due. You might, at any given time, hear a “phrase” or “riff” reminiscent of any one of the many artists who influenced my career; sometimes a conscience choice – sometimes not. That’s what this CD is about. It’s my salute to this music and those who make it. I’m very grateful and proud that at this stage in my life I can finally be out there –SWINGIN’ WITH THE BEST.
